'He had such a lovely holiday, and was showing of his nice tan at work. All the patients liked him, the nurses wanted to date him and the med students wanted to be him... Ernie's world was perfect. Until...

He started running a fever, and his heart beat skipped through the roof! Ernie knew there was only way he could save himself, by giving himself a check-up!'

That's the scenario I had in my mind when I made Ernie. The reason I made him was after watching a big art attack during a bored afternoon during the holiday.

Judging by my poll results, 2 people have read this so far...so to you special people, here's another update.

Well, this is the only update as the first two entries were a bit 'random'. So, I'm a med applicant, recentley turned 18, and currently deciding if the bar is worth the journey in the rain.

Wow...my audience has doubled since earlier this evening. So a quick up-date on Ernie:

I decided not to go the bar...had a nice jacket potatoe instead, with coleslaw and chips...hmmm... don't worry ladies (if any of my fans are), Ernie's still in shape and sexy as ever

ERNIE'S BACK BABY!!

It has been a while since I last visited NMM, and after just reading a couple of threads, a lot has happened. Interviews, Rejections, Offers.... congrats to all who have had good news and to those with bad, chin-up, there's still loads of time till this application cycle ends (if you want proof, one of my mates got rejected in the half-term from one of his medical school choices, but he's now got 2 interviews!).

Having said that, I still have not heard anything from any of my choices...I know 'no news is bad news', but I hate being in the dark...doesn''t help either when your non-medic friends have already got 5 offers as well.

And I notice I have 11 intent readers of this blog , sorry for the late up-date.

PS - I hate this cold weather , made me all ill as well I'm better now though - wonders what nice warm chicken soup and paracetemol can do for you.

So about all in all, I'm not the most popular author ever...fair enough I bet even Terry Pratchett had his hard days when he started.

Now, my anxious audience, since I can't put another poll up, I'll have to ask you this: What do you want to see in this blog in the future:

a) - What it is like right now - just me blabbing pretty much nonsense.

b) - A diary/journal of sorts like the other blogs are - be warned though, my life isn't exciting (especially right now)

or...

c) An adventure/ story type thing of Ernie - The Doc (the art attack guy).

To be fair, I will include this last option:

d) Just shut the hell up! Seriously, dude, no-one gives one and we're all better off if you stop wasting our time with this. Hmph!

I am dissappointed audience. Since the 2 weeks since my last post, another 4 have became my fans, but only one has replied to the question (yes I did read that post before the mods got to it). I can only think of one logical explanation, that my audience is too shy to talk to their favourite author.

Well, since only one fan replied, I guess I'll do what you requested - a mixture of a) and b)

Well, today was an alright day. Just the usual (for December anyway) - waking up, breakfast, revision, breaking the hearts of several ladies with my damn good looks, lunch, more revison, coming on NMM for a few minutes, more revison and coming on here again

Think that was a good up-date.

And still no news from any of my Uni's. Hate being in the dark

Where's my festive spirit? I forgot to wish my wonderful, shy audience a happy xmas (I know, it is so worthy of a :O). So, Merry Christmas audience , hope Santa brings you what you want .

I'm getting a Gibson SG from Santa btw It's all nice and shiny and blue. Almost as sexy as Ernie.

Christmas is a truly magical and happy time audience! And I just got my own little bit of Christams miracle. One of my medicine choices has finally gotten back to me! I will be at Leicester on the 18 February, being nervous as hell about my interview but at least I got one

Merry Christmas! This is going to be my best one yet (except the 05 xmas when I got my dog), as I have a medicine interview and a new guitar

Thank you Santa! Must have been on your nice list Anyone else feel like shouting
