Hongkie@Medical School

Hi there~ My name is Patrick. I am currently a 1st year medical student at Aberdeen. As you can guess from the title, I'm from Hong Kong. I have been here for a good five years already, and yea, I did my GCSE and A Level in UK.

I actually have been writing weblogs for a while, using Xanga, but recently I've opened a new blog as I want to try somethin' new~ Anyway, I will mainly share my life as a medical student in my new blog. I personally find writing weblogs quite interesting, and I hope it may help some other people who want to read medicine (although by all means I am no good at studying, particularly in medicine... LOL~) I am a bit lazy to be honest, so I won't really update my blog everyday... Hehehehe~ Anyway, I hope you all will enjoy reading my blog. Please don't be picky on my English. As I always tell people, "Well buddy, don't expect a Hongkie to speak and write good English..." (Well, I am actually pretty sure most people from HK are good at English, but it's just me who is no good at all... LOL...) Please don't hesitate to leave comments in my blog... If you've got questions, you can always ask me although I doubt I will be able to answer...

My last entry - 9/3 - My path to medical school... Part 3...
At St Leonards, every Year 11 students were required to be off for a week for work experience. I was lucky enough to be offered a place at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, Scotland for my work experience.

This was a very interesting and rewarding experience indeed. I was able to appreciate the significance of the trust between doctors and patients, as well as the importance of working as part of a healthcare team...
