im going to med school!!....woohoo!

Well Im utterly bored so I'll start one of these and I can bore others to death too!

So, i'll justs set the scene, Im in upper 6th and starting med school in September. Which med school am I going I hear you ask....well, heres the deal:
I applied to Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds and Sheffield. Why I applied to Newcastle and Edinburgh I do not know, I think I picked them at random or summat!! Had interview at Sheffers back in November and got a conditional offer ABB. Recently found out that Ive been rejected from Leeds and Edinburgh But surprisingly I wasn't bothered
So now I have accepted Sheffield and I am really excited about it!! I withdrew my application from Newcastle (just today actually!) and I really wanna know what there decision was but I guess its too late now!

So now Im all sorted with unis, and suddenly the accomodation problem looms! WHERE OH WHERE TO LIVE? I really cannot decide. All the places look quite nice! Anyway, apart from that I have results day looming :?
Can't wait for summer, I can kick my feet up and do absolutely nothing at all! WOOHOO!!

Good Morning all,

Just had some great news.........well, I went to New York through half term and my case got lost Thats right, it never turned up at JKF. So I was stuck wearing the clothes I had on all week, and let me remind you...it was well below freezing over there...very chilly!! (It was a great excuse to go shopping though 8) ) Anyway, when I got back my dad said that I could claim of our travel insurance for lost baggage!! So the good news is that it looks like I'll be getting a big pay off!! woohoo!! and my case actually turned up in Heathrow!! So hopefully I won't be that skint through uni!

Is anyone else feeling really fed up of college or is it just me? I think I've 'out-grown' it (if thats possible!) Just really looking forward to going to uni.
Anyway, just got out of my lesson to write up my psychology coursework but Ive decided that its far too boring, so here I am borring the pants off you lot instead Better keep an eye out for my tutor, Im sure hes prowling around somewhere!!

I went to the hospital last night to visit my aunt, and if I end up working in one that smelt as bad as that one I will seriously reconsider my career plan!! It was the food it was shocking!!! Anyway, after seeing some of the people in my aunts ward last night you really do have to respect the work of nurses...they're saints

Anyway, enough of my little speech, Im off to have a nosey at other peoples weblogs (yes I am extremely bored!!)

I feel like an invalid!! I had to have my third hepatitis B yesterday along with a meningitis C. Silly nurse stabbed me in both arms leaving me in serious pain!! My meningitis arm felt like I had been punched excessively in it all night long, then my hepatitis arm went really sore this morning! I seriously can't move them very much. Just typing causes me pain! :cry: I have to have a blood test in 2 months to see whether I have made the anti-bodies or not (or something like that).

8) Anyway, hopefully going to go out tomorrow night, not been out for ages and ages and I love getting dressed up! And yey its friday, so YEY I see my boyfriend!! I only get to see him every other weekend or so, cos he lives in leeds, so I'm happy today
:idea: I think I'm going to go buy some summer clothes now and try to convince myself it'll be summer soon (even though theres about 2 ins of snow outside!!)

Well, Im off to nurse my sore arms and browse the new catalogue on debenhams website

Hello, haven't wrote for a few days, so thought I best update you all
I emailed UCAS about withdrawing my Newcastle application last week but it seems like Newcastle don't know I am withdrawing as I got a letter through on Saturday inviting me for interview. I politely declined the offer, so now I'll get a third big fat 'unsuccessful' ! Oh well, that doesn't matter because I going to Sheffield 8)

So anyway, I was supposed to go to Sheffield on Saturday but didn't end up going cos I only woke up at 2:15pm and by the time I was showered and dressed it was too late to go So my boyfriend said we can go next weekend and he'll take me flying whilst we are there (cos thats were he flies from :P ) So Im really excited about that!!!

So anyway, decided that its time to start my revision, so I am going to start making some revision notes today. (Oh god I say this every year and I only ever get around to it about 1 week before the exam :? )

I got an email from UCAS this morning saying that I should check my application progress on 'track' as it has been updated. I am only waiting for Newcastle now, so I thought my rejection was there but when I logged in it wasn't :? So I don't knwo why I got an email when my application hasn't been updated at all. Oh well. :roll:

I have officially decided that I am a real couch potato! Last night I spent from 4 pm to 9pm watching telly (non-stop!) I have become addicted to flippin Ricki Lake and As If on E4 and not to mention 'The Weakest Link', I am such a saddo its unbelievable!! ops:
Anyway I best go and do my chemistry work before my lesson (see i was too busy being a couch potato last nite so didn't bother with my chemistry!) tut tut!!

Hello all 8)
Im just sat in the library trying to convince myself that Im here to do physics coursework....and nope i still haven't even attempted to start it despite being sat here for an hour so far!!
My lifes so boring at the moment! Im trying to plan a holoday to go back to New York in the summer and I just can't find anything reasonably priced I loved New York I think I want to live there!

Anyways, I felt like a fatty last night so decided to go over the top in the gym...now my legs ache and i can hardly walk Oh well, its all the name of looking good in my bikini (and my bridesmaid dress!)

Yep, I going to be a bridesmaid!! First time ever! My sisters getting married in August, in Rhodes, and Im her bridesmaid! I can't wait! Im going to have a lovely tan just in time to start uni 8)

Ive decided that I seriously need to get my ass in gear! If I don't Im going to fail my June exams. Yesterday afternoon I was determined to do college work but instead I ended up going to bed and sleeping till about 7pm! I got my tea, watched As If, went in the gym, then went back to bed! Im such a lazy cow!

Well I really am going now to do some work, bye 8)

Im going to leeds tonight but I have to get the coach from liverpool city centre (which is about 20mins from my house) and I hate it! Its always full of wierdos and druggies asking for money or being abusive!! Usually my mum drops me off but she can't tonight so I have to get the bus there and then walk across the city all on my lonesome, I get so scared :?
I'll be brave and if anyone approaches me ill just scream !!

Anyways, todays has been one of those mind numbingly boring days..zzzz.
Just sat a watched the most boring video in physics about uranium 'gobbling' electrons :?: I couldn't keep my eyes open, you know when your eyes just keep shutting even though you're trying your best to keep them open! God...bring on the 28th May! (leaving day woohoo!!)

I found a new way of keeping in shape!! When no ones home i put my radio on really loud and dance round my room like a nutter! Its fun and it keeps me fit!! Really, I shouldn't be telling people this :!: How embarrassing ops: Oh no...fridays are kebab day!! I always have to have a kebab on a friday but im trying to tone up and kebabs won't help! Im seriously going to try and resist temptation but I dunno if I can??!! All i can do is try my best

ooooohhhhh....is anyone else doing biology: mammalian physiology and behaviour? We get to disect an eye!!! What fun! Oh did anyone see Jordan bite that eye on celebrity thingy?? eeuuugggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Im trying my hardest to firmly accept Sheffield but UCAS haven't sent me any info and I can't accept online cos theres nowhere for me to do it :?
Ah well, who cares!

I am not looking forward to Thursday at all. For some reason the college has come up with a 'one way' system for collection of results! Its such a silly idea! There are 1200 in my college (upper and lower sixth) and they think thay can get all results out in 20 mins??!! It took hours last year! I think I'll just go collect mine at the end of the day.

Anyway, I had a great weekend (as previously stated), my boyfriend shares a house with an anaesthetist and its really great when hes in cos he loves telling me about his job and what he does and if i ever need any help with med school or anything just ask him...hes lovely

Promise I'll send a more intersting post tomorrow....byeeeeeeee
