so far, so good, maccas. As you know the rugby team tried to cudgel me into joining their society earlier. But today (back at uni) i 'ave managed to avoid the rugger boys all day wif a few quick well timed ducks and shimmies behind bins and chairs. i am not too sure if i can keep this up for five years, mind. :/
i wil let you know ow fings pan out.

today i ave a good weekend.
on the way ome from uni, i vivisted leicester university, which is a very friendly big campus on th edge of the city centre. unfortunately it wuz getting dark afore i got there even, so i only managed a quick scout of the place by nite. The Union building is 'uuuge! i wandered round it for an 'our until i chanced upon a rehearsal for some kind of musical (which i joined for a few mins as they practised there chain of thesbians doing their dance routine).
Then i went to see " 'istory boys" which is film about some posh skool maccas trying to get ino oxfrog. ma favourite charater wuz Rudge (hehe).
After that i went to see "Children of Men" which i wuld ighly recommend! it is a very very sad story about a poor maccas who does 'is best to elp a poor tiny tiny li'l macca even though he knows he wil not mek it 'imself, and the film made me cry a lot. Particularly poignant wuz the scene where there is a whole war going on around them and then the soldiers see a tiny li'l babby wifthe lead characters, and they all stop fighting while they go past...like EVERYFING goes quiet... scenes like that mek you cry a lot, you see.
and then i watched ollyoaks and smallvill and chummed and ad some wine and after that.....i wuz quite 'appy.

ok next week i am gonna visit sheffield uni (hehe) and luffborough uni (ehehe).
so on the sporting theme of these two, ere are the sports teams i support or follow -
footie -
Newcastle United
london footie -
i follow Wimbledon AFC and also like tottenham and charlieton athletic
other uk footie -
i ave a strange fascination for bolton wanderers
and pompey hehe
and cardiff and swansea, for some unknown reason
in scotland i luv St Johnston! They are ma eroes!! but i am fascintated also by the Celtic/'earts/Rangers axis of power at the moment.
world footie - in the US its new england revolution (though i dunno why) and in europe i like -
in france - Auxerre and Metz
in Italy - Bologna (cos it sounds quite tasty) and Fiorentino (the club back from the ded hehe)
And finally for footie - international teams - england of course, and also scotland and irepublic of ireland and also finland, mexico, the USA, russia and india and peru (hehe).
Rugby - i dont do rugger but i am curious about the newcastle falcons and also 'arlequins.
American Football - Nottingham OUtlaws cos they ave the coolest name
Ozzie Rules footie - Wimbledon Wildcats!
Ice 'ockey - not decided
Tennis - ok from the past i like Fred Perry, Chrissy Evert, Ivan Lendl, Steffi Graff and Stefan Edberg. And also Greg Rusedski (Cos he smiles whilst he plays hehe even when he's loding...wat a nice man). Today i like Roger Fed and Martina 'ingis (cos i like peeple who comeback, even though i know she used to be a bit of a div).
i also prefer wooden rackets like Bjorn Borg did heheh!
Motorsport -
F1 - i used to like Jaguar when Eddie Irvine wuz around, but since then its Minardi cos they are li'l li'l li'l but they try very 'ard! even to come last they try ard but they dont put in less than 100%!
of the current lot i kinda like Red Bull Team maybe.
and ma fav driver is Jenson Button hehe and becos of him i respect the 'onda and the Renault teams.
Also like our other British driver, Lewis 'amilton. This kid is quick! As you can see, i support british and english drivers, not like the scum who jump ship and support 'the best' one whoever he is.
Rally - ma fav team is Skoda cos they are the littlest team but they always do the best they can...they do not flinch and inch.
luv Subaru as wel tough they seem to be a bit crap these days...
Used to like Ford when Colin McCrae wuz wif them...
and Mitsubishi for cross country rallies yey.
Cricket - Durham and SUrrey cricket clubs aye
ma fav player is that fat guy who plays for bermuda!
also i co-supported ireland (wurld cup 2007).
