Went to see Love Actually..........its a FANTASTIC film!!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely loved it!!!!!!
All my male friends refuse to go and watch it because its a chick flick and I have to admit that Love Actually is one of those more girly films but i can guarantee all those guys out there saying "No way im not watching that" are going to rent it out, watch it, love it and then say "Its ok but not really my kinda of thing"!
Hoping to go and see LOTR next week before xmas, i havent been to the cinema for ages so im making up for lost time!
Have been trying to get a place for the London Marathon through a charity but its seems to be very difficult...they all keep replying that theyve filled in all their places.... ......am still waiting for a few to get back to me.
My last driving lesson wasnt too bad i must admit......i did do the usual stalling and not changing into the right gear but other than that no awful, dumb, no-common-sense type errors. Fingers crossed my next lesson will be just as good or better?!
Im veeeeeeerrrrrrrry behind on my xmas shopping!!!!!! I ordered a few things from Amazon which were due to be delivered this week, got an email saying they wont be delivered until january!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not much use to me then!!!!! Have to drag myself into town and battle with the last-minute crowds to get all my pressies. I really really really really hope it snows, i heard on the news that snow was forecast for the north tonight and guess what we're forecasted........rain! Typical!!!!! :?
Best be off, reading the second part of the "Rise and Fall of Modern Medicine".....very good book. Ive noticed in one of her posts that Fluffy is reading "Bedside Stories-confessions of a junior doctor"..im reading that too....its really really good. All the doctors say it gives quite a good and nearly accurate account of their own experiences!
    Night everyone!

Woohoo!!! Battled through the horrendous and very stressed xmas crowds today, bought all my presents, gave out (nearly) all my presents to my mates and bought some lovely food from M&S (i have never seen M&S food hall so empty in my life!!!-managed to grab the last box of genoa cake! ). I am feeling really tired now, have a sore throat too so im going to have an earlier night with an electric blanket and a good book.
Cant wait for xmas now that everythings sorted!

    Helllllloooooooooo!
Had a fabulous xmas! Hope you all had a great one too.
All of my pressents except for one went well so not a bad success rate for me!lol!
I have definitely eaten way too much and drank loads-but didnt get drunk at all. Love x on the beach cocktails and baileys...oh and wine .....and the brandy too!lol!
Ive managed to avoid going to any sales as i know i wont find anything i like and will just come home feeling shattered.......so feeling very peaceful and content.......ahhh dont you just love xmas!
Have been reading lots of books...have just finished "Bodies" and although i know its fiction, lots of things have been exaggerated,etc.........some of it has been based on fact. It does worry me about having to deal with this kind of hierarchy and bureaucracy in the future, which i know is true in every profession but i think it has a much more profound effect when it occurs in medicine. Hmmm, anyways thats my thought for the day, its xmas and thats my thinking done for the day!

I havent written on here for ages....keep meaning to but when i get round to doing so i just keep forgetting what i wanted to write in the first place!!!!!lol
Well, my life at the moment is very boring. Ive been job hunting....unsuccessfully......and i really dont think i stand a chance of getting an auxiliary job in my area. There arent any vacancies and as soon as one comes up lots of people apply, many of whom have lots of experience and are here permanently.
Apart from job hunting, i keep getting constantly reminded of why i dont like sales! Simply because i dont have the patience of looking through a rack of clothes that are so messed up you cant actually work out where one piece material starts and the other ends! and mostly because the things that i want are never ever on sale!!!
Im still trying to lose the xmas weight that i piled on! Really dont feel like going out for a jog in this weather.......yep ive already broken most of my new year resolutions!lol!
Im going to carry on with my job hunting and trying to find the best paid jobs in my area that have vacancies.
