as i've been up since 5.30am and this seemed like a good idea
my choices for uni's are brighton, kings (not got a hope in hell), leicester and uea.
i have an interview for uea on wednesday. not really looking forward to it.
at this point of my four choices, i'm only interested in going to two of them; kings and brighton.
i'm a mature student (22 years old) and I'm studying an access to medicine course in the town of kings lynn. i commute there from london three days a week for lectures.
i have no idea what they will ask me at this interview. possibly 'why do you want to be a doctor, and not a nurse' etc.
i've been reading so many journals that they've lost all meaning.
got a biology assignment to hand in on monday so i'm off to search the net for the answers.
its the day before my interview my uea. i've collected my suit from the dry cleaners and polished my shoes. just looking over my ps and some journals. i'm just starting to get nervous.
not really sure what they are going to ask me. i think me ps was pretty self-explanatory, but who knows.
apparently at uea they give you a few situations and ask what you would do. not really looking forward to that bit. :?
went to the interview on wednesday. i must say it wasnt what i was expecting. they didnt ask any medically related questions at all.
i was interviewed by a micro-biologist and an physicologist.
they were really nice, very relaxed.
it was the first time i've been to norwich and i wasnt really impressed. the people i met were really friendly thou.
a group of us went to the student bar. very nice inside. concrete city on the outside, but really nice on the inside, all brand new. very impressive. :P
i have no idea whether or not i will get in. i'd love to do that kind of course. they say they will tell us within one month.
getting impatient, wish the course was over. they say we should know by may where we are going to end up.
at the moment i'm getting nervous enough to consider doing a course in forensics. its always been an interest but i've never thought of doing it as a career.
Rejection here too :( fairly gutted. Thought my interview was ok. My interview was back in November and cos of the long wait I got my hopes up that I actually had a chance... Just southampton to hear...
They must just give out the rejections first and then the offers.
Good luck for Warwick! I only have Bristol left and doubt I'll get in so probably will be applying again
Yes I thought the odds were approx 2:1 which is good but my interview didn't go very well. I was hoping that an excellent reference from my boss would have saved it but I guess it didn't (and that's...
