Well on Wednesday it's my graduation from Lincoln ... I'm semi-looking forward to it and semi-worrying, but hey, that's life. I am a worry-pot, always have been, always will be. My ballet teacher named me Worrypot when I was about 10 because I was such a perfectionist. Ah well. I really need to stress less.

My holiday in Newquay was fabulous, I had the best time! The atmosphere was really chilled and relaxed and I could see myself living there. My boyfriend made a comment when we drove past a hospital that I could apply for a job there some day ... that'd be perfect! I had a surfing lesson that went pretty well, and surfed for the rest of the trip, although didn't improve massively. I do, however, have very funky surfer-chick hair after I've been surfing. It turns into a curly blonde mess that apparently looks very cool. Somehow I think The Man only told me this because he was fed up of me straightening my hair every time he was hungry and needed to get something to eat Now or he Might Die from Starvation. (Men are so impatient!!! It only takes me ten minutes to straighten my mop!) In his defence I will say that he is great to go shopping with. He carried all my bags, like a personal shopping assistant and never moaned once! We ate clotted cream teas and played lots of frisbee. I posed for a picture outside Newquay Rowing Club ... haha I'm obsessed!!!

Red face Silly nerves

Tomorrow, or today, rather, is my graduation from Lincoln. It should be fun seeing everyone again for the first time since May, but I'm quite nervous - my mind has been blank on academic matters for some time and I hope the chemistry tutor doesn't ask me what went wrong in my exam haha!

Please don't let me trip, please don't let me trip, please don't let me shake or do anything else that makes me look nervous even though I am.

Silly silly girl! No doubt I'll be posting here tomorrow night about how fun and relaxed it all was! (I wish we got our free drink BEFORE the ceremony!!:P)

Wish me luck, I haven't been able to eat all day, my stomach's grumbling but I'm too nervous to eat.

Nigh-night!

Wow I didn't realise I hadn't posted in here since before Lincoln Graduation. It was fun and there was nothing to be nervous about! I had a fun day and was very spoilt

Right now, though, all I have to say is:

I am a very very bad MollyMouse! Haven't updated in MONTHS! (8 to be exact)

Well well well I have almost finished my first year at Nottingham ... hopefully! We finished our exams last week and have an OSCE on the 13th and I should know my fate on the 18th. The exams didn't go too well but I just have to hope for the best. I am STILL dreaming about anatomy!

Not too sure what I'm doing this summer, it all depends on the outcome on the 18th. If I have lots of resits then I don't think I'll be going anywhere. I have to resit MBM, either as a first sitting as I have a doctor's note and letter of support from my disability support worker or as a resit. I'm actually in the library at the moment, returning all the books I had out and getting some MBM ones out.

I've been looking online for flights to Dallas or NYC - I've been promising a friend that I'd go visit her for the past seven years or something daft!! I haven't found anything under £500 though which I wasn't expecting. It's weird how you see all these great offers all year long and then when you actually are looking for a deal, you don't find anything!

My dad and his girlfriend are spending two weeks going around the Greek islands and he has offered to pay for me to join him. (He also offered to pay for my boyfriend too but we split up a few weeks before the exams). I might do that.

Oh and I got invited for an interview at a pharmacy, only thing is, it's a permanent position ... part-time but some of the shifts start at 3 or 4 and I'm not sure if I will manage that next year. So I'm thinking about it. I did absolutely nothing all weekend apart from relax and laze around and try to get over the post-exam slump. Today I am going shopping! Toodle-oo!

Well I passed all of my Semester 2 exams, was pleased with my CRH, OSCE & Communication Skills marks but disappointed with anatomy. To say I spent every week of Semester 2 working for anatomy at the expense of other modules, I didn't do very well at all. Mind you, I did abstain on a fair amount of questions on the T/F/A paper.

My extenuating circumstances were accepted by the examining board so my previous MBM mark will be scrapped and I can sit the MBM exam again as a first sitting. I've been revising for about two weeks & it's going ok. One of the MBM lecturers put on a revision week, which was great of her, and has helped a lot. I really want to do well in order to bump up my average to a first, but it's not realistic to expect an amazing mark!

Looking forward to moving into my new house, shared with another medic (NMM's very own divin_doc!) along with two other non-medics. The house is amazing & the landlord is great.

I haven't had the most exciting of summers but it's been ok. Saw my dad and a friend from SA in London, which was fun. Saw 2 shows (The Lion King, and We Will Rock You) both of which were fabulous! Been going to the gym & working a bit, seeing friends & revising. The exam is on 5 September, and uni starts again on the 24th ... I'd love to just hop on a plane somewhere!!
