I'M SO BORED AND DEPRESSED!!!!! SOMEONE, CHEER ME UP
Not much has happened this week, but it never does with me.
Done the same old crap, running around after Carter and Martin, cooking, cleaning and watching tv. Roll on the weekend!
Today, I deceided I am going to clean this house, from top to bottom. Once I started, I wish I had not! God, I hate being in this mood
Nothing, as regards to Medical school. I really want to be given the opportunity to get as far as interview stage, at least. Can't moan too much, at the moment though (touching wood) no Unsuccessful's, yet.
Carter is really doing my head in today. Drawing on things he should not, getting mardy when he does not get his own way
I'm only 24, yet sometimes, today being one of them, I feel 44. Thankfully I don't look it
I need someone to whisk me off my feet for the night!
Back to the grind, I call life...
Love Trudy Meldrew...

Today, so far....
Well, the post came, at its usual time. I ran to the front door, to find an A4 white envelope, with The University Southampton, stamped on the front, in red. My heart started beating very fast, as a map dropped out from its torn edge!!! YES, I thought, as my hands shook, I have an interview!!!! I then looked at who it was addressed to...NOT ME BUT MARTIN, inviting him to an interview on the 14th Jan. DOH!
I must admit, I'm happy for him, but that's two in a space of a week. I'm jealous, I want an interview.
Oh well. Going to have a beer.

I wish I had money! I hate being poor, but at the same time I'm still using the plastic to buy things
Today, I went out and brought myself, Trivial Pursuits. It must be the Christmas spirit bringing the child out in me. I have been playing it for the past 2 hours and now I'm bored of it. I think after dinner, Jenga will be played next, with a nice cold glass of white wine (again, another expense I can't really afford)
At the moment, I'm cooking a nice roast dinner: Chicken, stuffing balls, roast tatty's, the lot. I can smell it, and it's making me so hungry.
I really hope the Postie brings me an interview letter tomorrow.
Bye bye

Eeek! Checked the OU site, yesterday, and found out that I will be getting my S103 results tomorrow, which will be shown on the computer! I was also told, that the letter may come today!!!!   The Lady I spoke to told me it will just say pass or fail, and I will have to phone up to get my overall score.
2 weeks ago, I received my Chemistry material from the OU, and even though it does not start until Feb, I have already made a headstart, in order to be ahead of the game.
I still have not heard from the universities, I gather I won't now, until after Christmas, unless I get an Unsuccessful :?
On a positive note, not long to go until xmas One week tomorrow!!!! I can't wait. I have got the majority of my food, just need to collect and pay for my turkey and posh nosh, from M&S on Monday, and buy booze. Oh, I also have to buy my Mum's bloke a present, especially as I have learned that he has contributed towards Carter's gifts.
I'm going to go and make the Cart, toast.
Hurry up Postie and bring me some good news! NO BILLS PLEASE.

Postie has been and gone. My OU mark came through, for S103. I passed!!! I hope the grade I got is good enough?? I'm still not sure if Soton will accept it for their WAMP course, but I gather I will find out very shortly.
I spoke to Caroline at SGHMS, and she asked me to send her an e-mail so she has it in writing, in order to pass it on to the assessment team. She also said, I did not have to send a transcript, but I could if I wanted.
Tried calling Linda at Soton, but I got the answer machine (hate those things, I end up sounding like a moron), so I sent her an e-mail, saying I had passed.
Wish me luck...

Got a wee bit drunk, last night!
Martin, had a half day yesterday, and came home with a little bottle of rose champagne and some wine. I think I'm still pished now
I'm still gutted about Soton. I REALLY wanted to go there, it seemed so right. Oh well. They want me to get 60% in my level 2 OU courses and then they might consider me.
My Mum is coming today. She is going to cook me a M&S dinner, and is taking Carter and I to a local nursery, to have a look. As one of Cart's many Xmas presents, she has deceided to pay for him to go to nursery 2 afternoons a week. This is excellent, as I will be able to do more studying while he is there, unlike this year, when he was under my feet all the time.
It's Martin's last day at work today, and then he is off for the next 9 days. It is always good for the first 4 to 5 days, and then we end up getting on each others nerves
I just checked UCAS, thinking there would be another Unsuccessful next to SGHMS. The way my crap luck is going lately, I would not be surprised. But as luck goes, it is still active
I can't beleive, Soton want 2 level 2 courses, as well as the level 1, in order to be at A-level standard :shock:Level 1 OU courses, are considered to be equvialent to the first year of a degree, hence higher then A-levels
I better get of the subject before I end up ranting on, again

I'm so bored!
My Mum says she will be around about 12:00, but she normally does not show until 1:00.
The hang over is kicking in. I feel a bit poorly, especially when I have to bend down.
I need something good to happen to me soon, and this week has been shite. First, I did crap in my ECA 59%, then I got rejected from Soton. I think they have made a mistake, and reconsider me
Bored, bored, bored.....
