Not much has happened this week, as usual...
Martin ended taking the whole week off work, so we spent most of our time going to Tesco, or taking Cart's down the park.
Today has been pretty much the same, got up, got dressed and went to Tesco. Martin has gone down the off licence to buy some booze
I think Carter is reaching the terrible two's stage. He keeps on being really naughty, especially if he does not get his own way! He was up all night last night, due to the stupid fireworks :x Don't people know that it's not time to set them off yet, that's what Nov 5th is for! It really p*sses me off when people let them off in the day, WHY!?!
As you can probably tell I'm not in the best of moods!
Checked the UCAS tracking system 1000 times this week, still no news, which is fine by me As long as there are no 'UNSUCCESSFUL's' I will be just fine.
Another thing that is bothering me is people worring over whether or not they get an acknowledgement letter from the universities! Who cares, as long as you have your AS2 letter, the hard bit is done! So I stupidly wrote a post which should of not been started, but that was not my intention at all, so sorry to everyone if I have offended you. But everytime I read a post, someone has wrote about not getting one, thought it would clear the air... Oh well, I will think before I write in future ops:
I have changed it now

Now that I'm a Consultant I might go and do some private work at the Hadlinton with my my 2 pals, Tom Campbell Gore and Ric Griffin!
I'm SO full, just spend most of the day in the kitchen cooking a roast dinner. We had: roast chicken, peas, parsnips, roast tattys, yorkie puds, stuffing, gravy and bread sauce...YUMMY
Now I'm vegging out writing this, before eating my pudding, a nice blackcurrent cheese cake
Last night I thought the forum had turned into 8 mile, what with all the banter! At first I found it a laugh, but after a bit it really p*ssed me off. Where do people get off by insulting others :x Glad admin stopped it all.
Well I'll love ya and leave ya
Peace homeboys!

Hi Everybody!
Martin has gone back to work today, so I have the house to myself, well almost! Seems a bit odd without him here, but at least I will get peace and quiet!
As always I was awaiting the Postmans arrival, and sure enough, he has been and gone. Left me with an NTL phone/internet bill  , and a letter from Soton . I was slightly nervous when I saw it, as I thought it might be a rejection....I will explain as to why.
The WAMP course I applied to allows for people with non traditional or lower grades to apply. I applied however, on the basis of my Open University course, as I was told by a local college that this was equivelent to a level 3 science access course.. Hence applying! However, Linda Turner did not get back to me whether Dr Skidmore would allow me to apply with the OU stuff, by hey, A life half lived......
Well, I opened the letter, with bated breath, half expecting them to say they would not accept me on the basis of my recent work, and to my surprise he letter was really nice. It basically said that they have my application and that I had to get my college to authenticate that I defintely have at least 2 of their screening requirements! Which is no probs, as after I was on the phone to the council, found out I have all five So off to Nottingham on Wednesday to get the peeps from the OU to sign and stamp it, then off it goes!
So in a good mood, as I know they have it!
Got to clean that bathroom today So I will be on my hands and knees scrubbing. I hate housework, I go through stages where one week I hate to see even a tiny speck of dirt on the floor, to another when I don't give a sh*t! Oh well...
Back to the routine.

Nice to see you, to see you, NICE
Just got out of a really nice hot bath. I pampered myself by putting on my Boots Spa mud pack, and just lay there among the bubbles and steam! That relaxed me until I got an e-mail from Martin!
He had a meeting today with his team leader, regarding last week he took off. His attendance has been rather bad of late, but who could blame him considering where he works! He was told that HR has become involved and that they have arranged a meeting on friday :? :x So I'm sh*ting myself, as they might sack him! But I thought one has to get verbal and written warnings before they are sacked?? Why make him work the week then fire him at the end of it!?!
We are up the creek if they do! We have X amount of Loans and credit card bills, as well as a morgage! I don't need this on top of all the uni stuff!!!
STRESSED!
Going to make spaghetti carbonara to try and forget about it all. I get so stressed when anything gets mentioned about money.
Off to Nottingham tomorrow to get the OU to sign my form for Soton
Laters

Oh no, I have got a cold! My nose keeps running, and now I'm developing a cough
Went to Nottingham yesterday with Martin and Carter. It was Martin's day off (might be his last two days left at work) so we got the bus and went straight to the OU. It was really nice there, and it was also my first time, as I never attended any of my evening lectures when my course was running. This was due to the fact, by the time Mart got home from work, I would have missed half of the lecture anyway, so it was not worth the hassel...
When I got inside, I had to ask for someone from Student support to authenticate my form for Soton. At first they were unsure, and I got really worried, as they were the only people that could do it. But once she logged into my student account and read my details, she signed and stamped it, and said if I need an academic reference, they would be more then happy to do one! Which put a smile on my face, as my UCAS reference was from an ex employer, so I may take them up on it!!
After that was done, I posted it off, and went to the Victoria Centre do look for a smart jacket and shirt for my interview at King's Lynn next Friday. It did not take me long to find one, which I was really surprised about, so we ended up going home really early.
Last night I had a nice take away from our local Chinese, which was yummy and a few glasses of white wine . After watching fireworks, I ended up falling asleep on Martin's lap, and went to to bed at 10:30.
It was nice to get out for a few hours, stopped me looking at the UCAS site every second! The good thing was, I managed to get back in time for Doctors and caught up with Neighbours in the afternoon.
It's Marty's meeting wih HR tomorrow!!! :? :x So I'm REALLY worried about it all. He is remaining calm, but how can he as he might not have a job to go to next week!!!!!!! Oh well, enough freeting, I need to pop a chill pill or 1000
Laters my Med friends!

I have just spent the last 2 hours washing and drying my hair! It is that thick and long that it feels like I have had a work out when I finished! Sad thing is I can't bring myself to cut it....
Today is judgement day for Martin. His meeting is at 2:45 to 3:15 with HR and management, so I will be on edge until then!
This morning I received an acknowledgement card from SGHMS, so now I know both my choices have received my UCAS form. Now I just have to wait and see the outcome. However, I will be checking the tracking system every 2 seconds!
Tomorrow I going into Nottingham to meet my mum for a spot of lunch, so that will get me away from my boring routine for at least a few hours. But it all depends on the outcome with Martin and work.
Will let you know how it goes later :? :? :?

Good news, Martin has just e-mailed me to say the meeting he had was not that bad, infact they did not give him a warning, so needless to say I'm happy!!
I'm knackered! Just finshed doing 40 min to Tae Bo, and now I'm sitting here trying to cool down. I have decided that I need to get in shape, and will do some exercise when Cart's is in bed! That reminds me I must go and get him as Boobah's are on in 10 mins....
I got a private message today, which really put a smile on my face I feel like I have made friends with people on here, and I'm really glad I found this forum!
I can hear the evil one calling, I better go and get him

I had a really nice weekend!
Went to Nottingham on Saturday where I met up with my Mum. We went to a really nice bar to eat, which was right up near the Broadmarsh Centre. It was called 'Fashion', and the food was excellent!!! I had Oriental Salmon with Noodles, while my Mum had a creamy chicken dish. It was really well presented, but ended up costing my Mum a bit, especially after the wine we drank.
Afterwards, we went to Marks & Spencer, and did some food shopping, and then went to Vrigin and HMV do get some Xmas presents. I brought a Birthday card for Carter, but was slightly disappointed as I could not get one with 2 on the front
Yesterday was also a really nice day. Martin cooked a beautiful casserole, and we just veggied out all day, after getting back from Tesco.
Have not heard anything else from the Universities, but at least I know they have my application, so now the waiting game has well and truly kicked in
Going now to make a cuppa

Not much to say!
As usual I have spent all day on this forum, or have been running around after Carter. Oh, I forgot, I have also been checking the UCAS tracking system every 5 mins!
No word regarding potential interviews, but no news is good I suppose!
Going to watch Neighbours and Doctors in a bit. Afterwards I'm going to cook dinner, Chilli, before heading off to the Doctor's to have my first Hep b injection, YIPPY! :?
Think we find out who the Holby killer is tonight, even though I know it's Kelly
Wish me luck!
