did everyone get rejected on UCAS and via email from the pg4 team?
Any chances of the waitlist still moving...particularly for int'l students?

Snap, got the same emails... the one from UCAS on the 10th and the one from the PG4 team on the 11th. I was expecting the UCAS one but didn't realise we would get one from the uni as well. I emailed them to double check I was still on the waiting list and they replied saying that a review meeting to discuss those of us on the waiting list was being held on the 17th, so from that I gather the waiting list is still moving and it is just more of the waiting game.

If the Warwick waiting list is the same as Nottingham's was last year, the waiting list applies up until the day before the official start date of the course.
PagingDrAwesome received his offer for Nottingham on the last day of fresher's week, so all hope is not lost

Appreciate the reply! This thread has been awfully quiet so far...doesn't seem as there has been much movement at all.

alright, i've lurked for far too long. there's nothing on TSR about a warwick waiting list so i've been checking this desert of a page at a disturbing daily frequency...
Any guesses as to when the next wave of acceptances might be? surely there will be one BEFORE the june 7th deadline? they had a meeting on may 17th so I was actually hoping to hear back on may 18th...

I'd imagine the bulk of offers to those of us on the waiting list will be following the release of exam results at the end of June beginning of July, when fingers crossed (and not intentionally being mean) some people with offers won't make the grade. Sounds horrible I know, but that's what it comes down to.
I agree that there may well be a few offers around the 7th June when the lucky people with more than one offer are forced into deciding where they want to go if they haven't already, but I would have thought most people would have decided already. If it were me, I would want that sort of thing done and out the way so I could concentrate of my exams.
When I was told about the meeting on the 17th I was also really hoping to hear something on the 18th. Every time my phone went off to tell me I had an email I had a nervous heart flutter, and unwillingly I would always hope it was an offer even though I knew the odds of that were low at this time.
Anyway, good luck to everyone else that's still waiting. If you're anything like me you're slowly going insane. Happy waiting.GEP applicant 2013:

Most people with conditional offers and Uni exams won't know their results until mid to late June, and it is innveitable that some people fall at this hurdle. There's also an acceptance afternoon at Warwick on 4th July: they probably schedule it for this date for that very reason. I'm sure we'll see some activity around this date.
Even after this date there will always be hope in that people might drop out for other reasons (finance, health, family etc.) so all is not lost.Warwick (GEP) 2012 entry.

I'm also hoping international spots will open up since May 15th was when offers went out in North America, so hopefully some accepted students will be withdrawing.

I'm an intl applicant as well (north america). I was put on the waiting list at the end of march and I've got another offer somewhere else but getting into warwick would save me an insane amount of money on tuition, which i'm having trouble funding for the other uni.
I wasn't aware people got their offers so late in america, I figured they'd get sent out the same time as the waiting list offers in march/april. bit weird..
Anyway, my issue is having to withdraw warwick for a much more expensive alternative on June7th...which according to everyone here, seems likely.
If I emailed warwick about my situation, do you think they'd answer if I asked if offers would be sent out before the june 7th deadline?
I need to firm an acceptance before I can secure my funding as well...and then there's the visa app....
time's really not on my side
If I find out there's no offers being sent till after june7th, i'd withdraw from the warwick WL right away.

Well Canadian offers went out May 15th; Applicants to US schools were forced to choose 1 school out of all they were accepted to on May 15th as well, which means US waitlists will start to move now and hopefully those on the waitlist at Warwick get accepted and withdraw from Warwick...
No harm in trying to call them I suppose...best of luck.
