Hey Happy.

In the end my UKCAT score was pretty good, but felt I had utterly screwed things up at the time. I didn't manage my time well and ended up guessing at least the last 5 questions in every section. As it was I must have been very lucky with those guesses as I scored 702.5, which turned out to be good enough for most GEP courses - but it still made for an anxious few months.

The conditions weren't ideal either. The dry wipe pen they gave me wouldn't work, the mouse didn't work properly, the computer calculator kept freezing and best of all there was some old geezer taking his driving theory test a few desks down who kept reading all his questions aloud and talked to his PC. Great days!

Its easy to say don't worry about UKCAT, but compared to other unis Warwick don't demand such a high score.

Just spend time on it, every now and then and by the time you sit the exam it should be no bother.

(Book well ahead of time. The first time I sat the exam I stupidly thought there wasnt a rush so left it a bit late and ended up having to drive for an hour and a half, around the M25 during morning rush hour to get to a test centre miles away because it was the only free space!)

Hi everyone! I shall be applying for the GEP at Warwick for 2013 entry.

Just taken my final exams in my forensic science and anthropology degree and am predicted a 2:1 so hoping to start the ball rolling with revision and prep fairly soon!

I'm currently studying Physics and just in the middle of my second year exams (procrastinating nicely haha)...booked my UKCAT today for the 14th July! It's all getting so real!!! Eeek.

Good luck guys, im sure all the UKCAT will be fine. Just be weary of the practice books I found they were much easier than the actual test itself.

I just wanted to know how people are funding their studies for 2013 entry, from what ive read the fees havent been released and look to be quite dear so far ....its almost deterring me away from applying.
