Newcastle is currently drip-feeding out offers and it's pretty annoying. Seeing other people get offers and talk about accomodation and facebook groups is pretty disheartening when you're own future is in the balance. Also knowing that you could get a reply any second, or it could be next week, doesn't really help you relax.

I hope Warwick gets it over and done with quickly - like ripping off a plaster...

I was "guy in a blue shirt" on Wednesday for the group task. Hopefully we didn't come across as too mean, we tried to keep it friendly but as we have a script we have to stick to we are somewhat limited in what we can say. On the Tuesday I helped chaperone the interviews.

Don't worry too much about whether the group task got a good result in terms of distance. You get people who bomb the task completely but get through because they were a good team player. Other people get a good distance in the group task but lose a lot of points for being a bad team. It is quite extensive in terms of how you interact with people in the group, what you brought to the group, etc. If you haven't noticed yet Warwick is big on team work! Not too sure how they mark the written exercise except the examiners are sat doing it all lunch time looking secretive. Interview is marked both on the notes of what you said but also notes on how you cmmunicated which they make after you leave I think. So it's a mixture of what you say and how you say it.

I remember how it feels from this time last year guys, the waiting is not fun at all. Looking at my email from last year I heard on 12th April, though that was when selection centre was later in the year. It was about 3 weeks after the selection centre week I think.

Thats good to know, its been 3 weeks since the interview now, however if they are only just marking the written tests it'll be at least days until we hear anything, if not next week!
My interview didnt go well, but team building did.

Giggy, do you know from speaking to friends and people on the course if all the offers and rejections were sent out on the same day?

Sorry, I meant they were marking them at lunch times on selection centre days, pretty sure they marked all of them on the day. They were asking for as many examiners as posible to help with marking so they could go home earlier.

They should have the various marks for each task now, just a case of doing all the admin stuff.

Sorry, forgot to mention. From what I remember the offers appeared over a few days, not all on the same day but not miles apart from each other.
