Theoretically, if I were to get an offer for my first choice the yes I would probably withdraw from my Warwick interview, but given the my first choice interview is only a week prior to the selection centre I doubt I will have heard anything by then. I think most people are in the same boat, and although it is a nice idea and would obviously be of benefit to those that have been put on the waiting list, we all really want to study medicine and I doubt anyone is willing to turn down an interview, even if it is not their first choice, without having an offer in their pocket already.
People may drop out so don't give up hope, you haven't been rejected yet so that's a positive.

Oxford and Cambridge let applicants know in December. I'd drop out of Warwick if I happen to get an offer from Cambridge next week..

Has anyone not heard back from Warwick?

Normally I'd think no news is good news but perhaps not if so many people have heard about interviews.

Haha, and Southampton. Feel pretty nervous about finding out so soon, though.

Yes, I can imagine! How do you think the interview went?
    Fingers crossed.

Imperial will be sending out offers in early to mid February. Prior to my interviewer I was considering dropping my Warwick application if I heard back from Imperial in time. After my Imperial experience I won't be doing this now, even on the remote possibility I get an offer, but it stands to reason that people with more positive experiences will jump on those offers. There's every chance people will pull out of the WMS interviews closer to the time, but I suspect it might be very last minute.

@ new2newmedia - I haven't heard either. And I have the same average UKCAT score as you, exactly. Hopefully we'll hear soon. My boyfriend keeps telling me "no news is good news." I hope he's right!

    Hi r2d2,

Thanks for posting. I was starting to worry that everyone had heard back!

My PS was a bit of a risk so I'm hoping that's not it. I don't have masses of WE compared to some either but have been doing 2 separate long term bits of volunteering so I'd be a bit aggrieved if that was the reason. Perhaps it's alphabetical (slight clutching at straws)? My surname's starts with an S.

Can I ask what your degree was in? My Scottish MA in economics seemed to throw the admissions a bit and I had to explain that it wasn't a postgraduate degree and that the "arts" bit was a bit random. I was surprised they had economics on their list of acceptable degrees in the first place to be honest.

    We shall see!
