    Selection Centre Attendees 2010

    Hey all,

I was just looking through the various threads about the Selection Centre trying to identify anyone who might be there around the same time as I, and I also have some questions that hopefully someone can answer.

So post here when you're attending:

Also I was wondering if people were travelling up really early on the morning or staying? I've booked a room in Travel Lodge the night before to save getting up at illegally-early o'clock.

What are people planning on wearing? Presumably smart, so suits?

    Hey

    25th 12.15pm

seems like I got the best time...

I'm wearing my suit as ever, my grandad lives in Leamington spa so I don't need to worry about travel lodges luckily!

Good luck everyone...I'll be wearing red shoes on the day if anyone spots me.

I'm on the 23rd at 12.15pm, so won't need to be staying over, as that gives me plenty of time to drive up in the morning. Was planning on going smartish, so trousers and a top, but find suits for girls a bit stuffy and not really me, so I won't be doing that

No idea on numbers but stands to reason that we're all likely to be group task buddies at 12:15!

25th March - the afternoon one, I'm assuming 12.15pm? I'll be coming from London, thankfully it's in the Easter holidays!

    Hi All,

Phog - I'm attending the 8.15am session on 25th March, so look forward to seeing you there Phog! I would dress smart. Definite no-no to jeans etc.Travelling up really early, being a glutton for punishment 'n' all!

Flipperty - good question about numbers. I'm guessing that 400 candidates over 5 days (22-26 March) with 2 sessions per day (8.15am & 12.15pm) gives 400/10, so 40 delegates per session. I could well be mistaken, but either way, it will be a wholesome number and should be a fun day!

Lots of people have described it as the best selection process they have had for med school, and the WMS students posting here are very helpful too. All in all, best not to worry about numbers and do the old cliche: 'Be yourself'!
