Just be yourself. You can't prepare for the selection centre....however...

I can't say how it works at Barts - but I feel it wouldn't be smart going into any interview scenarios not preparing "why I want to do medicine, why I want to go to WMS" etc. I was asked a few "standard" medical school interview questions inbetween discussing the video.

So overall, don't bog down preparing yourself with standard answers (they want to get a feel for you at the interview by you being yourself!), but be realistic - they want to see you care about medicine, and you have some skills in preparation (researching WMS, have a feel of other healthcare professionals). simple stuff.

I enjoyed my selection centre. Hope you guys will too.
    Best of luck.

    Just to add.

UKCAT, references etc get you to the selection centre, but whether you get an offer is PURELY based on your performance at the selection centre.

This is supposed to be reassuring and i can understand people have bad days. So really, dont bog down revising everything (just the simple stuff) and be yourself on the day. thats the best advice - relax and have a good nights sleep.

they're looking for attitude more than anything else - they teach you the science here.

Just wanted to add my 'thanks' to the answers given. I was curious about the written part too. Looks like I can concentrate mainly on my current deadlines this month! Selection centre will be a welcome break I think (+ muffins!).
