Anyone been told the following...

Unfortunately no decision has yet been made regarding your application. We will contact you as soon as we have received a decision from the course selectors.

Either, it's a blag the person I emailed doesn't have a clue, or it's a nice way to say I'm not gonna reject you via email!

Has anyone else been told this?

Hi sarah,
I had an interview on the 23rd Feb and phoned them up on thursday and got the same reply as you! Im not sure how to take it butim not overly optermistic now

hang in there guys. I didn't have my interview till mid march and didn't find out till start of April. I think they wait until they have interviewed to let everyone know.

Yeah, but I haven't even had an interview, making me think she was just being nice. Oh well, there is always next year...

I've been told exactly the same thing whenever I phone them. Don't know what to think of it - if they're still handing out interviews then we can still hope, but if they've set up all the interviews that they're going to do you'd think they could put us poor sods that they aren't inviting out of our misery rather than just leave us dangling!

So ends my rant! By the way congrats to everyone who's been offered a place, lucky so and so's

Yeah, mayb they are hadning out some offers, seeing if any put them as first/second choice, and working through it all like that. Or possibly I am hoping way too much, as this is my last place not to get rejected from yet!

Hi Sarah

I got an e-mail on Friday saying much the same (just got one from Bristol today aswell).
I'm not overly optimistic now but I reckon they are doing what you say - seeing who puts what as first choice etc. and offering interviews as spaces become available.

Who knows how it all works??

Anyway, hope we hear some good news soon
