Accomodation offer close to UL.
Hey guys,
If you've decided to go to UL, I wish you the best of luck!! Its a tough course but its really interesting and fun at the same time, I thought PBL was a great way to learn and the prep you get for clinical work is great.
I've a house in Caislean na hAbhann, Castletroy, Co. Limerick where I've lived with other med students since first year. Its a 5 min drive/20 min walk to UL and is in a quiet neighborhood, easy access to the M7 so only 10 mins to the Regional close to town so 7 mins to St. Johns hospital and 10 mins to the maternity hospital so perfect for 3rd and 4th year aswell.
Its a corner house, only 4 years old, landscaped back garden with patio and garden shed, there is plenty of parking, and its a very safe neighborhood.
I'm looking to rent out 3 double rooms in the house. 2 en-suite with walk in wardrobes and 1 double room.
Message me if interested, or looking to get a med house together.

Hi
I am a UK applicant and have applied to UL. But with the recent loan withdrawal of AIB, I am not sure how many can actually afford to accept the place. Otherwise, beside all the negativity about the UL, I think it is a great place to study medicine.
Thanks

I'm in the same situation Mo. Are you from the UK or do you live in ROI? Ulster Bank are still offering loans to new applicants but only those who have lived in ROI for the last 10 years.

DOhio, No problem, what are your preferences for CAO application?
I have booked my accom in UL and UCC just before the news came out. I am not sure I can get my deposits back. That would be waste of money, time and lots of affords if we cannot get the loan.
