Ucas outrage and speaking out against 'unfair dismissal'

So, UCAS sent us an email saying that we could change some choices before 7th December as some institutes had changed the funding policies and DID NOT include any exemptions regarding course choice.

UEA are now refusing to consider applicants that 'applied late' due to the blunder by UCAS and their communication with universities and students. Am I alone in being outraged that a choice has been wasted and I've basically been strung along by false information which may potentially have cost me a place at med school, a years wages and experience as a Dr?? It's hard enough to get in without having a choice taken away from you.

Anyone else feeling my pain? Does anyone else feel that the student shouldn't suffer as a result of institutional mess ups?

Was very annoyed and had a good rant which I think is necessary. After that just tried to put it out of my mind and focus on my other dwindling applications.

Are you doing your A levels? Do you have other interviews/offers in the pipeline?
