    Hi guys!

Maybe this is a bit off-topic but as I have more than one offer I'm in the process of choosing where to go.

Could someone please confirm if, in the later years when doing the different clinical rotations on places other than the Norwich and Norfolk University Hospital are we suppose to stay there during that period or do we come back to the campus/Norwich everyday and just travel back and forth?

    Thanks!

You do clinical rotations at the different hospitals throughout years 1-5 - NNUH, JPUH and QEH (King's Lynn) with Ipswich now taking students in some modules as well. (approx 4 weeks per module with 2 in year 1, 3 each in years 2 and 3 etc) At present, no accommodation is provided for any placements though I believe they're looking into accommodation at Ipswich and possibly QEH. Transport is provided from campus for all placements outside Norwich

    Gaia, thanks for your reply.

You see, I have an offer from HYMS as well and am undecided between HYMS and UEA. At the moment I'm inclined to choose UEA but I'm still gathering as much info as I can. HYMS seems also a very friendly place but what's putting me off a bit is the fact that one will be dispersed throughout quit a few locations as the course progresses (York, Hull, S****horpe, Grimsby, etc) and as I have a family that can be a bit disturbing as I would like to get home everyday.

I've checked on the map and both Ipswich and King's Lynn are about 50 miles from Norwich and Great Yarmouth is about 30 miles and these are all manageable distances, on a daily routine.

    Hi ChOcOlATe_BrOwNiES,
If it's any consolation they have made me an offer via email, however they are concerned about my part-time studies, so I have decided to withdraw from that course to accept the med school offer for September. I still have no official offer through UCAS. Hang in there, I haven't given up on you! Remember, no news is good news.

I called UEA today and they said that my application will be looked at on the 12th April and that I would receive their decision within the following week. Huhhh...
