UEA successful applicants 2010
Hi there, I just received confirmation via email for an invitation to Medical school at UEA. Has anyone else received confirmation?

Is this an offer for a place or interview?

This is a confirmation for a place at medical school (more specifically international spot as I am from Toronto, Canada).

Well done on your place. My interview was re-scheduled from Jan to this friday and i'm guessing there can't be many interviews after that so hopefully home students will start hearing in a few weeks as well.

Congrats on your offer at HYMS. Do you know which one you want to go to?

Well to be honest i am really hoping a get an offer for UEA. HYMS is really nice and similar in the fact that they also have a pbl based course but its a long drive from where i currently live and there a just a couple of points that i think UEA has better.

Well done on the offer! I'm a home student, so I suspect that we shall start hearing in the next few weeks. EKek

Do let me know if you guys get in!
The interview was a really awesome experience at UEA. I admit I was nervous though (hand was shaking while holding scenario sheet..had to firmly place it on the table and read....
Med 20, I am sure you will do great this Friday. Because it is rescheduled, will it still be mini-interview style or one-on-one? International students got one-on-one. It was intimidating b/c I had initially expected it to be steeple-chase styled. Anyway, the interviewer was nice and probed/challenged answers a lot. Knock them dead- figuratively as we shall "do no harm"

Well i hope its still the mini-interview style, i quite like the idea of having a minute of so just to think about what i'll say. My original time was moved because of the weather disruption we had at the start of Jan so i think there will be a few candidates in a similar situation as me so i think it will just be same as everyone else. Its going to be a long day though because my current uni address is a 3 hour drive away :s but as long as it all goes well i'm sure the journey back will fly by
