Is there a post-offer open day for medicine then? Or, is it just the general university open day? I too, want to see the accomodation; my cousin (who's a 5th year medic at UEA) tells me the accomodation is very nice, and that they tend to group medics together, so thats it's easier travelling to placements and whatnot.

Hi All,
Just got an offer via email but not sure about if I would like to start this year or next as they have
offered me the option of deferring until next year, as i am currently completing some part-time studies.
Going to go off and have a think about it with the family and see what's best for all. Will let you know
if I will be seeing you all later in the year or perhaps next year as my seniors!
Congratulations to all, it's such a great place to be!

If it's any good to anyone still waiting, I declined my place at UEA a couple of days ago in favour of a graduate entry course elsewhere.
That frees up one more place for someone else I hope! Best of luck all.B.Sc. 2006

Yeeha! I'll be joining you in September woohoo!!! My friend is in fourth year medicine atm in UEA and in 1st year she lived in Colman House. She said it was brilliant, so I'm going to try to get into that hall too. It'll be interesting going back to halls as I'm 23 haha, superb. Congrats to my future classmates! And good luck to all applicants.

Hey I am 23 too! I am heavily debating whether to let or to stay in halls. I heard the accommodation is fantastic at UEA too. I was looking into some areas in the Golden Triangle....but if I stay in halls, i am looking into getting the same type of room as you. Can we actually choose which hall we want?
