I'm still waiting to hear from Leicester, buy even if I did get an offer, I'm 99% sure that I'll still be firming UEA...UEA is the place to be!

I got a conditional offer from Track on Friday and letter from UEA on Saturday.
Now all I need to do is get the grades in the Open University modules that I'm doing!!
Good luck to people still waiting.

    Hey ryuen!

Hope to see you there! Where abouts in Toronto are you from? Are you a graduate?

Are you guys going for the open day to check out residences? I wonder how they are like and whether most students stay in residence or rent a flat nearby?

haha Rose, i'm glad there is someone else who will understand my pain (UofT) jks jks!

Yah I heard they have great residences...that's why I am debating on living in a flat vs. residence. I was taking a look at the pictures and it seems very different from UofT residences. Which style room are you thinking of, and on village or near village?

I probably may not be able to go for opening day either but I did reserve a spot just in case. I wonder when they will start giving us the paperwork to file for VISAs and what not... seems like a tedious process. What program did you do at UofT?

hmm i haven't really looked into the residence yet. what is it like on village, or near village?
i did receive an email asking for my passport information. and i've also filled in mine on ucas (just that i keep getting this error message telling me that they're not able to save my info.. but i couldn't get back to the same page after i logged out. guess i should call them and ask)

anyways. visa application could take a long time =/ last year my friend had to deferred his flight to uk just b/c of the visa.

After high school i was determined to do biochemistry...after bch210 (the year baker demolished us- apparently its legendary) I decided against it. I am finishing my M.Sc. at uoft in the CSB dept. Things changed as I went on in UofT. I swore to never do things and ended up pursuing them...weird how life works out that way.

Anyway, so glad to know someone going to UEA from UofT- this to me is an instant connection haha. I did that passport filling out thing too. I think we are waiting on UEA to send us the proof of acceptance/confirmation and to sponsor us as international students to study in the UK via that Tier4 paperwork.

To be honest, I haven't been personally on UEA campus but I was reading reviews on it. I think at some point in the past there was a lot of construction / loud partying on village. Not sure if that is the case anymore though. The single en-suite rooms look good though.

I just signed up for the open day. I didn't really reserve anything. But they do ask for your name and address and stuff. I don't think its that necessary - based on the fact there is no fee.
