    East Anglia interviews

    Just to set the ball rolling, I (very unexpectedly!!!) received an interview offer today for December, even though on their website they say they don't usually start interviewing until January! By the look of it, I seem to be the only person with an interview offer!!!

    They invited me by phone but they said they're sending out a letter so I should get that next week, I'm guessing other people should start hearing next week

    Hey, congrats on your interview. Was just wondering about UEA ringing you for your invitation, do they do this for all the candidates or did they mention any particular reason rather than just waiting for the letter or via email. Just wondered because i've heard of other unis doing it too and it seems like it would take a lot longer to phone 50/60 people than sending out an batch email.

    I think they called me to find out if I could actually do an interview so soon as they don't usually do them until January because they asked me if the time and date was alright. I'm guessing for the later interviews they'll just send out a letter because I don't think they'll phone up the hundreds of people invited to interview individually

    Congrats on the interview! I've also got an interview for UEA. I received the invite in the post last week for December the 7th. What day is your interview? Are you a grad since i've heard they tend to interview graduates earlier than school leavers?

    Well done! It's good to know I'm not the only person with an interview

    I've got my interview on the 9th of December and they said they were sending out a letter so I should get that next week. I'm not a grad but I've left school so maybe that's why I'm getting interviewed with the grads
