I just got an interview from UEA for 8th Jan, two interview offers in the same day!!!! Missed their call earlier and got massively scared but its all ok, good luck to everyone

Received a phone call this evening (8pm!) from a really nice woman telling me i've got an interview! Two in one day!

Hi guys,

I missed an unknown call from a Norwich number on Monday night. The number I received was 01603 591000. Can anyone confirm if it is UEA medical school? I am scared I missed an interview invitation opportunity and they haven't rung me back. : (

Hey,
That's a Norwich number, and though it's not the same as the one they called me on it's fairly similar (591072). Just give the number a call back if you're nervous. It's a long time for them to wait before trying again, but I doubt very much they'd sign you off the interview list just because they didn't get through to you first time.

The exact same thing happened to me yesterday, i got a phone call from the 597000 no. and i missed it. In a panic i phoned the university and they said they were calling out for interviews and that if they hadn't got through earlier they would call back soon. Sure enough 2 hours later they phoned with an interview so don't worry they probs phone back tonite or tomorrow. The only problem was trying to act really surprised when in fact i was sitting doing nothing watching my phone all afternoon and the admissions office had already told me i should await an interview offer

Dont worry about missed calls guys, I think I had two missed calls from UEA before they got through to me!

Dont panic if you haven't heard either, I didn't hear until a few weeks after Xmas.

Just out of interest bpr, how long after the interview did you have to wait to learn the outcome? I've been reading about some universities not getting back to you until March which sounds like a nightmare.
