Is anyone else applying for the A100 course for 2010 entry?
I will be applying for 2010 entry, currently about to embark on my access to medicine at west anglia.
I was hoping for Cambridge at first but after reading the 5 year timetable, I hate the thought of being stuck in theory for 3 years before being unleashed on the public, so the UEA looks like the best option.
After speaking to Paula at the medicine admissions for the UEA, I have bee advised to go to all the open days and get your face known by the staff, apparently that can help when applying. Just have to be careful to not cross the intrested/stalking line haha.
Is anyone else applying for UEA A100 in 2010?

its not. This is my first time applying for any uni and i am finding the whole process very confusing tbh.
Im doing the access course at COWA, so do keep in touch, will be great to knwo how your getting on.
I have my UKCAT on the 5th septemeber, had a 7 hour private tutor session on it yesturday, so feeling alot more confident about that now.
It's just a case of knowing what to do and when to apply for it.

I'm applying, though not completely sure if i'll get an interview. Got a 2:2 with a Merit in my MSc, my UKCAT is 665 (600, 730, 630, 700).
My Alevels aren't good and my GCSE's are average. Anyone know for graduates if they look at a levels as well as degree? I contacted them and UEA stated my 2:2 is fine with my MSc as long as my UKCAT score is good, is 665 good for UEA?BSc Medical Sciences; MSc Oncology
GAMSAT 2008: 59 (58-61-58)
UKCAT: 665 (600, 730, 630, 700)

Hey there, think I might be applying for 2010 entry to UEA. By the way 'theMANthatCAN', 665 is a really good score. It'll be fine for UEA because they don't rank you on your UKCAT. I think Kings automatically considers you for their 5yr course if you don't get an interview for the 4yr course. So you only need to use one choice. The thing is that Kings is highly competitive, about 60 applicants to one place (Medschoolsonline - A Guide to Getting into Medical School in the UK).
Biomedical Sciences BSc Hons.
Full time Nursing Assistant.
Applying for 2010 entry:
BSMS 5yr - Rejected
Cardiff 5yr - Rejected
QMUL 5yr - Rejected
UEA 5yr - Rejected
Not even a single interview...(sobs)
I've now got to the begging stage, someone...please let me in to medical school!
