whats with the unhappy face about your gcse's tuhinb? You must be abit soft if you believe they would hinder your chances at UEA or most unis tbh.

Yeah they are fine if we apply to the right unis, but it's cuz I'm on a med forum and most med applicants have a few a stars :S
I'm not applying to UEA not anyway because I want to make use of my UKCAT score and UEA don't use it much. I got the HYMS e-mail too btw

I suppose but I dont believe gcse's actually are looked at past the minimum requirements in most unis only the excepts like cardiff and birmingham and maybe some london schools. The only acknowledgement I havn't had is from keele :-)

I'm applying and am in love with UEA. They were so sweet, they actually sent me an email asking to hear about my gap year plans. I was touched they cared

My grades for those who are interested:

    39 IB points

    A*A*AAAAABB IGCSE

632.5 avg. UKCAT (with an annotation from UKCAT stating that I was disadvantaged in the QR section)

Good luck to everyone who is applying!

Hi everyone - I am applying for the A100 5 year course at UEA. Applied last year but got rejected at the second screening. I am a podiatry graduate with a 2.1 so am hoping that my expereince healthcare will set me in good stead of getting an interview. I have a 6 month contract in Australia in late janaury so am hoping to get an interview before I go. Best of luck to everyone applying to UEA peeps!
