    gcse grades!!!!!!

    heeey ppl!! hope evry1s doing ok!! i was wondering about gcse grade requirements for UEA..i know theyre asking for english lang pass and some others..cnt remember off the top of my head?!!
    Well ive got 4 A* 5A 1B...this B is reeally letting me down!! aaah..its in maths as well...so in some places its minimum requirement..lucky i guess lol!! but i do hate it! i was wondering whether this is good enough?? any thoughts? thanks!!

    Argh, I hate people with good GCSEs complaining about how they are bad. Those GCSEs are great for nearly ever med school, except maybe Oxford and Cambridge, but even then, they should be good enough.

    i remember i got a letter from them, i think it was when i requested the prospectus and med school info, that '6 A grades at GCSE may be advantageous', so basically, in med school talk, 6 A grades at GCSE is very advantageous. since u have that, i say that's one check box ticked

    heelloo again !! thanks for renewing my confidence guys lol!! and Fawaz u dont seem to be taking too kindly to my post tho thnks for replying yeah well thats that sorted...now i need to get the A level grades dont i??!! aaah!! its craazy ...theres soo much competition for medicine lol!!
    i should be coming to UEA open day...apparently its in the middle of nowhere...Claire..do you know whther theres a train station nearby or another preferred means of transport to get there! im from Preston in Lancashire (NW) so how long wud it take?

    yuup...ill defintely think about the staying over...see if i cn convince any1 from skwl to come with otherwise thers always the bus/train lol!! but yeah..ur like a fountain of knowledge Claire!! thnks huun!!

    If you come on open day, there should be UEA student ambassadors (wearing green tops) at Norwich station to direct you to UEA...in fact I think their is a free shuttle bus...but would ahve to check that....
