    AR resit panic

Starting to really panic about the AR resit - it's due Thursday and I'm worrying about the content (or lack thereof) in mine. What happens if I fail it again - do I just get kicked out or do I get to appeal and have another go? *stress, panic...* Anyone enjoy reading ARs?

    Thank you

The feedback from the last one was helpful but depressing - I got -3!

There's a medsoc forum?! Have to have a look for that!

Redoing unit 2, the new paper's comparing physiotherapy with advice for low back pain. Joy. You're right, but that makes it easy to cock up a second time...

Blackboard has the info on resits.....they can ask you to leave if you failed a resit cos it means failing the unit.....but im sure you'll pass and if you didnt, maybe talk to them....it seems harsh to fail out of uni on an AR....ANQ i can understand but not that....maybe they would look at your pass performance and make you do it agian....

Think positive....you passed one AR, you can pass this one too.....just look at the feedback and address the issues brought up

    Yep, handed in *wibble*

Waiting for the dreaded results. Do they send them in the post, or put them on the board? Board of examiners meet on the 8th, does that mean that's when we get the results?

Apparently they have a policy of not emailing these results through or giving them over the phone (don't ask me why). They should be up on the board by 12pm on Monday 11th though, and will also be posted to you on the same day. I had to redo my unit 1 sss last Thursday and I don't intend on letting that happen again!

Indeed. I don't know why they have that policy. It was just mentioned in an email sent out recently. Even though we don't find out officially until after the 8th, I made sure on Thursday that I sat right by the examiners table (along with a colleague) so we could peer across at their marksheets, and everyone did fine. Unfortunately Bex can't do that for the AR results...
