The UCD School of Medicine & Medical Science invites prospective applicants of our Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) programme to an information evening being held on Wednesday 21st January 2009 in Room C005, Health Science Centre, Belfield from 5-7pm.

The UCD GEM Programme is designed for individuals who possess a minimum of a 2.1 honours degree (NFQ Level 8) in any discipline and who now wish to pursue a career in Medicine.

Attendees will be able to get information on the programme design & structure, course overview and detailed information about what to expect in Year 1. They will also have an opportunity to meet UCD Staff and current GEM students as well as tour the teaching facilities within the Health Science Centre.

We are particularly pleased to welcome guest speaker Mr Gary O'Toole (UCD Graduate 1996 ; Orthopaedic Surgeon at St Vincent's University Hospital & Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital).
