Sitting UMAT this July.

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question. I am going to apply to UWS(Uni of western sydney) as a mature student this year. I never heard about the UMAT until a month ago. I finished school in 1992 and then did a BSc degree in Computer applications which I got a 1st.

I am nervous as I have not really studied Science and Maths since school, can some advise on good study preps for UMAT. I am really afraid that I might blow my last chance and doing Medicine.

I would greatly appreciate any advice you can provide.

All the best for your exam! It is not really a necessity to be very much in touch with these subjects in order to crack UMAT. what the examination will really test is how apt you are at tackling certain situations and your understanding of the human psyche. All you have to do is brush up your analytical and reasoning skills. Read at random, anything you can lay your hands on. There are some good test materials available on the net, and solving them should do the trick.

If still need some UMAT Preparation Material, I've found some Free UMAT Sample Questions and UMAT Practice Papers. The PDF is quite comprehensive and the Sample Paper is alright as well.
