Can I do a UKCAT "dummy run"?
I've started preparing for UKCAT. Got the 600 book (Tennyson, anyone?) and UKCAT For Dummies.
My intention is to do it once this year, as a sort of practice run, mainly to see if I can cut it (because I don't want to apply to Bristol, Brum or Liverpool).
I looked on the UKCAT website (wot, no FAQ's?) and did a limited search on these forum pages, and so far I've seen nothing to say I can't do the UKCAT without actually applying to any universities.
I'm reluctant to contact the UKCAT offices about this because I might get rumbled. But let's assume "a candidate" DID do the test, got a crappy score and then chose to simply wait until the next admissions cycle, do the UKCAT "for real" and then apply. No big deal, right?
Warmest regards, and FORE!

Yes you can do that, I'm doing it this year.
If a dream is realistic, it's not really a dream. It's a to-do.
