UKCAT - GEM applicants 2012.
UKCAT thread for GEM applicants, just in case we need to ask/give advice and provide one another with moral support!
.
FYI I've booked my UKCAT for the beginning of July.
Apologies if a similar thread already exists!

So it's just me and my thoughts here! So it would seem.
I've spent the last hour and a half working on the UKCAT. I'm much too tired to do anymore today. I've done a little bit of the 600Q book and I also found this website which might seem a little easy tbh but I think every little helps with the UKCAT (NUMERICAL REASONING TEST).

*Um I'm sitting the exam on 3rd July! If my score isn't totally shameful then I think I'll put it up on here along with how I found the test. It might just help some people out here.
.
My current progress:
1) VR - I seem to be scoring ok, around mid 30s/44. My brain seems to switch off once between 6 or so questions.
2) QR - I can do all of the questions pretty much BUT not in the time given. I might start using educated guesses for very hard questions. I'm scoriing early 20s/36. :'(.
3) AR - I find this section enjoyable. The 600Q book was very useful to give a core grounding. I think the book and just practicing whatever you find online should hopefully suffice.
4) DA - This section is fun! I'm getting about 7-10 wrong each time though. I need to keep practicing this.
Since I've only got 27 days left to prepare -including today but not the day before the exam -I think I should get to it. I think that today I'll have a stab at practice test one on the UKCAT website. And after that - back to real life!
Clearly this thread is going to act like my blog during UKCAT preparation!

Heya!
My exam is on the 31st of August, I'm only applying for UKCAT so I'm praying that's all I need to get in.
So I'm finding;
QR- Really hard, I feel so dumb.... but I'm slowly getting there
VR- Fine, provided I read through everything
AR- Is okai until I get caught out by my silly assumptions
DA- Is pretty fun, im okai with it provided I keep practicing
Websites that I'm using are emedica and medify, if there are any good resources you are using please do share them.
