    Unhappy UKCAT VR help!!

Hi all, I was just wondering if any one else has noticed the same problem or i just need more revision!

Comparatively the 600UKCAT book VERBAL REASONING SECTION makes more sense than the ACE Medicine online as where the
book clearly states good arguements for an answer, when i apply the same principle to ACE online
ukcat questions i seem to get the wrong answers!!!!

I am therefore cautious about using the ACE online VR section because it allows assumptions to be made when answering.

Long story short, apart from the 600book, does anyone have any ideas of how i get more VR practice pls??~?

    Thank you.
    S

The actual practice tests are good, but a little short. Try Medify, expensive but good!

Any one tried UKCAT Preparation from Emedica - helping you pass the UK Clinical Aptitude Test I'm thinking of going for one of these for just a month.

I've read good things about Emedica and plan to it myself from the start of June As I mentioned above, medify.co.uk is really worth the investment too.

UKCAT For Dummies: Amazon.co.uk: Chris Chopdar, Neel Burton: Books

I've recently come across this book, which looks good. I haven't tried it yet though.

I've been using Emedica, and the VR sections are questionable!

However, it is good practice for A.R and for general Q.R practice.

The D.A is easier than the 600 book, but, the practice is useful!

    Anyone else tried Medify?

It is only £25.99 a month, not that expensive provided the questions aren't questionable or confusing!

Thanks for the ideas guys, looks like i'm gonna try medify (website makes generous promises) nearer the exam, then perhaps emedica as someone else suggested.

All the best with revision everyone...i'm just about managing to squeeze in an hour and half of study before work daily (5am-6.30am)!!!!

Any full time, working, parent out there with a strategy- ie best ways to prepare and study?

Wow that's some good going susanne12! I have been studying after work for UKCAT practice and at lunchtime for a bit of the old gammy!
I think I'm gonna do the same and sign up for medify, just a month before, which is very soon! Although I think they have about 8-11 practice tests in total, hope they are similar to the real deal!

    Hi snakefisch,
Yeah, with a little one i find realistically mornigns are best when i know the whole place is quiet and he is fast asleep. Used the technique at uni with my pharmacy degree. Mind you it doesn't always work... as occasionally i hit the snooze button till i have to prep for work.....lolol...
