The ULTIMATE Get Into Med School Package
Hi all
As a mature graduate arts applicant, I have finally managed what I often felt was the insurmountable challenge of getting into med school! As a result, I am selling much of the material that has helped get me to this remarkable position and am offering the following comprehensive package collected over the last 2 years of dedicating my life to the cause.
With no science background, it is these materials that got me through the GAMSAT and into St George's GEM 4 year Medical Programme which I start this Sept.
I really focused on the UKCAT too and attended the KAPLAN 2 day UKCAT Classroom Course: UKCAT Classroom Course: UKCAT Preparation in London and Across the UK | Kaplan
In addition to the literature listed below, I am also offering all course literature given out on the course, which lays out the KAPLAN step-by-step approach to answering UKCAT qu's section by section. The course cost me £299 to attend but it's difficult to put a price on these materials on their own. If you're interested just PM me with an offer.
The material covers A-Level science, GAMSAT, UKCAT, and medical interview preparation. I will sell as a whole as the ultimate fail safe get into medschool kit, or separatley.

Georges take more students for the GEP course. i am also a matured student currently in my final year of Nursing. any advice from you will be appreciated, am also having problem writing my personal statement, i would like to write in a professional yet interesting way. tried googling to see if i can see samples but none are graduate applicants. any help from you will be deeply appreciated. am really scared to do the Gamsat because its science and Maths based. Thanks

Hi Mcespi,
i replied one of your posts. you probabely didnt see it. there is maths in UKcat as well but i beleive you can do it as you a final year nursing student. For personal statement, i meet some medical student regularly as i am still on placement as a nursing student and they advice me a lot on the personal statements. there are books on it to giude you but you have to make it sound real as most people will rely so much on the book and it may sound a bit dogmatic and uniform.

Apologies for the very delayed reply on this.
Mcespi, I would urge you to sit the GAMSAT. I was very reluctant to take GAMSAT as I never thought I'd make the cut-off grade with my background in humanities and lack of academic science. However, I ended up getting the pass mark (and then some) and getting an offer for St George's -which was literally a dream come true. Your Nurse training will have afforded you a solid academic science background which will put you at a real advantage over many sitting the exam. Also, bear in mind that most uni's that require GAMSAT guarantee interview if you make their cut-off mark. This is very different to the UKCAT uni's, whose selection policy can be very subjective /random. The UKCAT itself is also much much more random than GAMSAT. If I had to put my faith in one it would be GAMSAT over UKCAT, and I NEVER thought I'd be saying that.
Some of these materials are still available all so shout if you want any.
