Warwick GEP UKCAT!
Hi everybody! I was rejected from Warwick and the only feedback they gave me was that my UKCAT score let my entire application down. Does anybody know what the cut off mark for Warwick was last year? I know they shift every year but I really want to be able to know how high I need to aim in order to at least get past the first stage.

Thanks a lot!! I had rang them and they said they couldn't give me any information so it is strange that they have it on their website .... Oh well. Appreciate it :-)

Hi, last year I got 660 average and applied to Warwick. I didn't hear from them for a while so called them around January and they told me that my application had made it through initial UKCAT screening and that I was on a waiting list and a decision would be made on the basis of the rest of my application. They then rejected me, they didn't give me any specific feedback but somebody else on nmm with a similar score to mine was told she was rejected because of her UKCAT so it is a bit confusing. I guess they have an initial screen where they only look at UKCAT scores and they then consider the application as a whole.
My friend averaged 690 and was interviewed at both Warwick and Barts. She later got a place at Barts.
Hope I haven't confused you!

I know my UKCAT score let me down. It wasn't strong enough to get me through the initial screening. I spoke to the admissions tutor who said to me that going by my last application I should definitely apply again and look to improve the weak portion of my application i.e. my UKCAT. I got the same response from Newcastle so I know it is my UKCAT score that let me down.
At Warwick they use the UKCAT score at the first screening step they then use the rest of your application to gauge whether you are good enough to be interviewed. I don't really know what happens after the interview.
