    ok fine, i know we will never get all 26000 people who sat it to do the poll
    and i never expected it to normalise exactly to the mean of the whole population, that would be a bit ridiculous
    just to clarify: there are now a larger proportion of scores in the average and slightly above average categories compared the the way above or below average type categories - which is a rough estimate of what you'd get if you flipped the results up their on their side, to give an approximation of the normal distribution

    for reasons already discussed above, our sample will be skewed towards the higher scoring end (which it is) and i'm not denying that...

    Well two thinks to think about

    Is your population honest?
    Is your population representative?

    For the latter I would suggest no on two grounds.

    A) people with higher Scores are more open about it, and thus vote in your poll.
    B) The people on here are probably more driven to succeed and thus would probably score higher than those that are more ambiverlent.

    hmm

    and i thought the average was 600 ..but it looks like alot of people have gotten high scores!
