I will have to agree with Jolt in that I personally don't think everyone is truthful!

I'll be the first to admit that I didn't do as well as I wanted to.

In all fairness, UKCAT scores all depend on where you apply. So a disastrous score doesn't mean a great deal if your academics are strong.

if you give it a chance, it should turn into a normal distribution
I would doubt this sample will even come close to normalising. Or the other one for that matter.

we also need to take into account of those who scored low and decided not to apply, that would remove them from our sample population

that is all true, but the overall population of UKCAT takers will have a normal distribution of scores

and in the past 2-3 days, it has normalised slightly, even if it is significantly skewed

Quite the contradiction in that sentence

Wohooo I´m on the top 70%. Bring on the champagne lool

This page is really unnecessary. What I would like is a page with ppl contacting last years UkCAT cutoff and publishing it every year. So that we can compare the score every year.

    To do list:
    TOEFL test 31/10
    Swedish "UKCAT" 24/10
Preparing for an interview (be kind and pray for me lool)
    Working
    Volunteering
    Keeping updated on medicine
    Have a LIFE
-And now worry about this? HEEELLLL NOOOOOOOOOOO

Jasmin85 that would probably be a really good idea
and yes... I spotted the little contradiction there as well, but it has gotten to look more normal, though I admitted there is skew, so it isn't a proper symmetrical normal distribution

No it hasn't. Normal compared to what?

NMM users? Medical applicants from England? Medical applicants to GEP courses? 5 Year courses?

Do you know approximately how many people do the test each year? This set of data is highly unlikely to ever normalise to the mean of the entire test population.

What I would like is a page with ppl contacting last years UkCAT cutoff and publishing it every year. So that we can compare the score every year.
It would be a really interesting experiment to have a sample of people take the test multiple times to see how well they score each time and how their scores correlate to their academic achievement.
