Reaalllyyy stupid question about the UKCAT :P
Lol ino this questions' gonna sound so stupid ull all be like why the hell is he applying to medicine :P
The Whiteboard - what is it? ie jst a normal "show-me" board like we av in skl with a black marker or is it a thing on the computer or what?
Coz if it is a normal white board(one of those really thin ones) im thinkin of savin time by wearin a black jumper with long sleeves so i dnt waste time tryin to rub stuff out if its a digital thing then ah well im doomed coz im rubbish at those!
Also are we allowed to take a drink into the actual exam?

It's just a normal whiteboard you write on with a black/blue marker pen and then you can rub it off with a cloth. I was given a cloth last year to clean it..but I guess your idea is a good one just incase

I would really try to get out of the habbit of using "txt spk".
It's horrible to read and really doesn't come off as intelligent at all.
Mini rant over, and to answer your questions:
Yeah it's pretty much just a regular small white board. Mine was just like a laminated A4 page.
You're not allowed to wipe anything off it for some mysterious reason but I was told to raise my hand if I ran out of room and they would get me a new sheet.
I wasn't allowed any food or drink in my exam.
Though I don't know if these are the regular conditions or just the one's they have at my particular centre.
Good luck.Glasgow Medic, 2010-2015

Dear fortysixandtwo,
Kindly will you accept my sincere apologies for using text language while typing on a forum. Its just that I find it easier to use shorthand stuff and I am currently writing my personal statement so am in no mood to write proper english anywhere else. Sorry again.
Regards,
Erasmus

I just took mine last week, and they said no erasing allowed lol WTF RIGHT.
They said if you fill up your board, you have to raise your hand and they will bring you another one. Time does not stop though..

Put your hand up before you run out of space- apparently they come very quickly as they are watching. I didn't use up my board but a friend who wrote a lot just put up his hand when 3/4 of the way down. And no drinks or food or watches (not nec anyway as you are watching the timer). Are you a Geordie or just sound Geordie in text speak?
