Sarah, you're clearly more clued up than one or two and I apologise for seeming to be getting at you. I am aware how stressful it all is and wish you well in your application.

I ascertained all this at a glance and I'm not directly involved. Surely you can work out how to fill in a form or you have no business applying to become a doctor - or, indeed, applying anywhere at all.

I had not registered with UCAS when I sat my UKCAT. I sat my UKCAT two weeks ago. Today went into my UKCAT profile and added my UCAS ID . I'm assuming this is ok otherwise I would be seriously annoyed with Pearson Vue for not highlighting the need for a UCAS number before taking my money to sit the test. I will call them tomorrow and post feedback on this thread.

On another note, in relation to Mazie's post , I really find it most unhelpful for you to be posting such negative posts. Maybe you could try to be more understanding of the pressure people are under. I take it you do not work in a caring profession.

I contacted Pearson Vue - this is what the got back to me with

"If you have not entered your UCAS number on the UKCAT registration form and would like to do so. Please contact one of our agents on the number below and they will help you update your profile. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us on the details below.

Yeh just rang pearson vue and actually you don't even need to put in your ucas id into the ukcat registration form (hence why there was no red asterisk for that question), or put in your ukcat results into the ucas form, the universities you've applied to contact ukcat and all they need is your name, so don't worry!

    Hey everyone,

If you sat the GAMSAT, I would advise applying to Ireland for 2010 entry GEP/GEM courses.

    Deadline: Jan-Feb time
    Interview: Normally No
    Student Loan: Generally Yes
Student Status: UK students classified as Homestudents
Universities: RCSI (DUblin), UCD (Dublin), UCC (Cork) , UL (Limerick - same course as St Georges even has some their teachers apparently and lectures via video link up)

GAMSAT - Usually 55 and above does it.

If havent sat the GAMSAT, you can do it in March 2010 for Sep 2010 Entry.
It called GAMSAT IRELAND (TEST Centre : London)

I would apply and keep your options open, you never know.

    Hope it helps.

To add my two cents. Last year when i applied I didn't put my UCAS ID on (since I didn't have it yet), Pearson automatically did it for me in November, do not worry if you haven't Pearson will send you're score anyways to UCAS who will then sort it out (they would regardless of whether you put it on or not). It is neither a requirement to put your ID on your profile on the Pearson web-site or to post your score on UCAS, as long as you've acknowledged that you're taking/taken the test. But if it'll make you happy go ahead and do it.
