If anyone has any additional information regarding UKCAT requirements from this years application cycle; post away! And I'll update as we go along.

I've heard that Durham wanted 650 this year... Which will have undoubtedly caused some frustration to those applying with scores of 620-649.

However, as Durham do use the 'listing' method, which I have mentioned on the main post; I won't bother updating it. (Although I have mentioned from before that 650+ was a score you should feel happy applying with.)

Yeeah, I'll definitely update that one.

A friend of mine went to their open day and they actually told him:
"You'll be fine with anything over 700"!
Although he did go on to mention that the very (very) high 600's is also okay.

Just thought I'd BuMp this thread up, as a lot of people said they found it helpful last year.

It also saves a lot of...

"I got XXX in my UKCAT, where can't I apply?" threads.

It's still largely relevant and any known changes have been updated.

Hmm I think score cut offs may be much higher this year....

I got average 697.5, that all important .5!

    Applying Warwick
    KCL
    Leicester
    Southampton

Anyone know any reason I shouldn't?

    Cheers.

Unfortunately I have absolutely no knowledge on how Universities use the UKCAT for Graduate Applicants... I just know that they usually expect a higher score.

But congratulations on a great score!

Thanks but compared to alot of people on here it doesn't seem so great!
Also I hear KCL has a cut of of 700 so I may think about that one having
    missed it by 2.5!

(Well done on Cambridge btw magpie7, I work at one of
the hospitals you will be on placement on!)

Some interesting Southampton info here: Use of UKCAT :: BM Medicine (BM4, graduate entry), A101 - Find a course - Undergraduates - School of Medicine - University of Southampton

I've not taken my UKCAT yet, got the hellish GAMSAT to get through first.
    UCAS 2011: four rejections!

    Hopefully going to be a 2012 re-applicant
