Most of all, it has a really diverse environment, and with minimum patient contact or even none initially, it gives you all the clinical knowledge that you need before you go ahead practically. Quite a few reasons actually. Where are studying/applying?
After everything you've just described, why not St. Andrews? Exactly the same set up but a lot less competitive to get in to?
Aberdeen first year, it's bloody awesome up here.

You don't need it. Just do the practice questions on the UKCAT website, that's what I did.

TBH I didn't know that, I haven't really looked into ST. Andrews alot, maybe I will keep that as a fourth option, cus I was confused between Aberdeen/Dundee and was even considering St. Andrews. I know Oxford is extremely competitive, but hey that doesn't stop ppl from applying? Maybe I will not keep it as my option at the end, maybe I will be too afraid to risk it by the time I actually sent away my application...

Yeh well like I said, St Andrews is near the exact same set up as Oxford but a lot less competitive. Where else are you applying?

That's a really confused choice of universities. I was the same, never actually did the work and looked far enough into it.

Edinburgh - mix between PBL and traditional.
    Glassgow - purely PBL
    Dundee/Aberdeen - integrated traditional.
    St Andrews/Oxford - 2 part traditional.

You any idea which way of learning would be best for you?

I honestly have been looking into it for a long time, sometimes I even start thinking about English universities more lolzzz I think more about where I would LIKE to spend the next five/six years rather than the course structure, cus everytime I look at a course content it looks pretty much the same to me, and half of it hardly makes sense at this stage. I even started making notes on the course structure to compare them in a diary, with all the requirements for a few unis just so I see evrything clear in a table. Actually I am not bothered with what way I have to learn, collaborative groups or a set number of classes, I think I will be able to adjust, but I feel I am more of a fan of the traditional style so will have to re-consider Glasgow. But Glasgow is a DEFINITE for me, because (I have said it before), I will most certainly be considered as an international student, and if I am lucky enough to get a scholarship, as I can not get loans, I will be able to afford Glasgow only because I already have my accomodation. So I just feel, every other uni is just a dream for me

    Hey
Just to add, Glasgow is putting a higher priority on the UKCAT this year. Although you have exceeded the 2400 required, I was told that they would be looking at breakdown sections, to make sure that we are evenly balanced. They also might increase the score required depending on applications.
    Good luck
