    Who scored over 800?

    ----

Is there anyone out there who scored above 800?
If so, show yourself. How did you do it?

I got 900. Full marks in all sub-sections. When the exam came, I was very confident and even had time to stretch after every section.
I don't think anyone else has ever got the full marks, so I would say i'm unique and that it would be very hard for someone else reaching the same feat as me.

    (btw i got 685)

A guy 2 years above me in school got an over 800 average but he was just a genius. Sat his highers a year early and got straight A's, got in to all the uni's he applied to apart from cambridge because he turned up to the interview after a night out, not so good.
Aberdeen first year, it's bloody awesome up here.

You don't need to be a genius.

    Prepare, and stay calm.

Hope you're lucky - the tests vary considerably.

While anything about 800 is amazing, what is considered to be a good score? I've heard anything about 670 is OK and 700+ is pretty awesome....

There's not 30 between merely ok and awesome.

The results are standardised to 5-700 for one SD (i think, or similar manipulation) so anything above 600 is above average and is good.

As you're a grad, I'd say 650 is okay, anything above 700 is good.

wow highers a year early? does that mean in fourth year, like doing highers over two years?
