I forgot to mention, this may sound silly, but research shows that a healthy diet in the days preceeding an IQ test and a little bit of excercise are really positive...something to do with a better state of mind! I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to give up Monday night in the pub...hehe.

I have noticed on here that people really aren't confident! I'd say be confident and try hard...what more can you do hey? M

I bought "Passing the UKCAT & BMAT" book and studied from that. I also did the practice test from the UKCAT website yesterday (My test was this morning). I did pretty awful on the practice test and spent rest of the yesterday and this morning panicking. BUT the actual test was much easier than the practice test, got a 675 average, which was higher than what I was expecting. So my advice would be to not leave the practice test till the day before the test, and if you don't do well on it don't worry because the real thing is much easier (at least the math portion is).

I have my test on tuesday too. I just did a mock paper, timing myself and I got about 50% on each section. And yeah I have no clue what that correlates to...When they say "you can't study for this", I think they mean it haha.

Don't worry about what score you get on your practice tests. You can't correlate it to what you would get in the real test because they use a complicated method to work out the scores. So your score is likely to be higher than what you've worked out from the mock tests (if you've done any).

McWiseguy ure in uni aren't u? studyin biomedz rite? i was lukin into dat 4 if i dint get into any of my medicine choices but i was finkin... sum1 sed it was possible 2 transfer onto medicine afta a year of biomedical science... is dat tru or just 1 of those rumours???

I've already graduated with a biomed degree. With regards to the transfers, no they're not rumours. I graduated from Newcastle. They allow approximately 5-7 people to transfer to med who have achieved a first year average of over 75% with relevant work experience (especially since starting uni) and upon successful interviewing. It's also possible to transfer to med at Leeds from Clinical Sciences at Bradford - I know of somebody who's done that. Not sure about any other unis though, you'll have to research those.
