No "Dr.Ash" that's completely wrong.
For a start the scores are normalised around 600 and IRT is uses to try to ensure that can use a random selection of questions without it effecting the candidates score.SGUL GEP (T - Year) - That's a 2nd of 4 years, but 3rd of 5...
