Urgent Enquiry

Hi Guys,

Im sitting the ukcat on Monday and i need to know how ukcat send of your resuts to the unis you apply to. How do they knw which unis ur applying to? Im using my passport as my ID and ur name needs to be spelt exactly the same on ur ID as the name you registered for the ukcat with. My problem is that i spell my name differently in collegue and i am applying with this name with UCAS. will this cause any problems?

thanks

PS where on my ucas form do i include that i've taken the ukcat??

On the ID that you provide at the test centre, your name and date of birth MUST match the information given that you registered with. On the website it says that if they don't you must notify Pearson Vue at least 5 working days before your exam. If you don't you will have to pay for another exam.

You don't need to put the UKCAT on the UCAS form. If you look in your 'Pearson Vue' secure log-in, there is addition information you can add including your UCAS number. Pearson Vue then send your result to the relevant universities.

Hope this helps :-)

the name i registered for ukcat with matches my ID but my name on ucas does not. its only a slight spelling difference. this shouldn't be a problem?

also, if ukcat use your ucas number to send off the info, why isn't that field compulsory?

Thye match names if they don't have the UCAS number- nothing to worry about.
