UKCAT Exam Timing
Does this apply to everyone or was it just me? I sat my UKcat today and the total time I was allowed to do the exam was 89mins instead of the advertised 120mins. The timing was just too short and the centre staff was not even ready to listening. Please reply asap it can happen to someone else if this is not the usual trend and I want to complain to the Pearson vue. You can confirm this by logging in to you account on UKCAT website. THANKS

Hi
It was a 90 min test last year when I took it, but since they've added a new section, its 120 mins as stated on the website. Hmm...not sure whats happened here?
Was the timer on the computer set to 90 mins or were you only allowed 90 mins by the testing centre staff? And did you have this extra section (non-cognitive) to do?
Contact them to see whats up before taking any further action or asking for a resit.

My 90mins. was for the 4 sub-sections and the non-cognitive aspect. My real exam lasted an hour and the non-cognitive for 30mins. which was contrary to what was on the website. I started at 11:04am and by 12:35pm I was already out and i had questions left unanswered. I felt cheated.
What I felt was that they were trying to push people thro bcos I overheard the centre staffs saying to one another that how come they had backlog of candidates because as at 10:57am, I was still waiting to be checked in - dont get me wrong I did not arrive there late I actually got there by 10:05am bcos I live far and I did not know where Holborn is. The lady asked me to go and come back by 10:45 becos I arrived too early, so I went and came back by 10:47am, joined the queue. There were 3 of us waiting to go x 11:00am appt., The lady at the desk said to the 2nd lady that I wish somebody could come out so that one of the 11o'clock candidate can go in. May be that was when they decided to be smart with it or it was an error.Last edited by squeeze; 19-08-2007 at 11:07 PM. Reason: Explanation

If you had your UKCAT test done at 190 Holborn High, can you please check how long your test lasted for by logging in to your UKCAT account and then check recent activities it will display your start time and when it ended. Because mine lasted for 90mins: 1hr x main exam and 30mins for the non-cognitive aspect. Please do reply.
