You are all welcome. I like sharing the knowledge i have (or webistes that i found!)

here are some more:

http://www.kent.ac.uk/careers/psychotests.htm

http://practicetests.cubiks.com/linkpage.htm

Enjoy practicing these tests. i think they are good (well to some extent). Obviously nobody can get hold of the actual questions so whatever is available on the net does help in the end. Good luck all.

Hello,

yes i think so. Altough some people would argue that it is not worth buying. But honestly i think it is the best guide since UKCAT have a limited number of questions on their demo/practice test.
It is really good for Decision Analysis section becasue decoding skills/decison making can be practiced using this book. It's a unique skill but familirisation can really help and reduce anxiety during the actual test. i did not find any other material to prepare myself for this part so i think its worth buying. Also has good sections on BMAT (if you are taking it) and general advice on writing Personal Statment & Interviews etc...

But be aware, the quantitative reasoning part of the book (in my opinion) is alot easier than the actual exam. I did my UKCAT few weeks ago so i think the best source would be official UKCAT practice since it has the same format.

Good Luck!

i just had that book sent to me from the uk it is helpful to see time restrictions for the ukcat and the style of questions. as what is tricky in the verbal reasoning for ex. is the cant tell so it helps you develope a pattern as to when the cant tell is the answer. for da its imp to see how they pick the best answer and for abstract its good advice on certain trends that may appear. I would get it for sure.

So... let me get this right...

UKCAT is very very close (if not exactly so) to psychometric testing?

Well I would say yes. UKCAT is supposed to be a type of an IQ or psychometric test.
