Extra Time UKCAT

Im trying to decide if I should apply for the extra time test as I am dyslexic. My only problem is that my proof is 8 years old, and i cant afford the money to get retested. Im torn between giving myself the best chance, or saving money (which I dont have much of) and hoping its ok..

Any dyslexic people done standard test??

I have irlene syndrome same kinda thing i got extra time finally in exams even tho my reports hmm 6 years old I just went to my GP and he wrote a letter saying i still had the problem and I need extra time in exams. If they want to say anything its good enoufgh for public examinations it more than adequate for UKCAT. Also this proof is good enough for the bmat so a letter backing it up should be enough.
