Sat mine today.

VR: 760
QR: 820
AR: 640
DA: 800

Total: 3020
Average: 755

I posted about the N-CA in another thread.

Strangely, the AR was the section I was most confident about going into the test.

AR - 710
DA - 790

I'm thinking of applyin to edinburgh but is this score good enough?? I heard gettin into edinburgh is pretty damn tough... n plus im an international student. neways I was wonderin how my score compares to others' I screwd up the first part cuz I honestly thought it was pretty hard. Had to guess 5 questions cuz i didn hav enough time at the end.

Hi all,

Just did my UKCAT this am, scores as follows:

VR - 630
QR - 700
AR - 740
DA - 610

Total:2680
Average: 670

Am extremely pleased with the result, as its a lot better than I was getting in practice runs, and bizarrely I scored highest on the sections I performed worse at in practice, and vice versa. I also ran out of time on the QR and DA quite a few items before finishing.

As for advice for those still waiting to take the test, the 'Passing the UK Clinical Aptitude Test and BMAT 2007' was really helpful in giving more background to the tests, and some helpful strategies, but some of the examples do not relate directly to the UKCAT test, and I disagreed with several of the answers given. So for the day before test definitely only use the UKCAT website practice Q's. Also watch the time, as I said, I ran out of time on 2 sections, and didnt even have the chance to take guesses.

Good luck to all those out there still to take it, do a bit of prep, watch the clock, stay calm and you'll be fine!

Sam

Just took mine today and got:

VR - 640
QR - 700
AR - 660
DA - 710

Total: 2710
Average: 677.5

I'm really happy with this, although as others have said I thought I did best on the VR and AR, because I ran out of time on the QR and DA and had to make complete guesses without even looking at the questions just to finish the section. My non-cognitive section also produced some strange results, the opposite to what I'd been expecting!

I took mine this morning and the results were as follows:

VR = 630
QR = 670
AR = 790
DA = 620

Total = 2710
Avrg = 677.5

I am fairly pleased with these results, and they look to be about average from this forum. The high score in the abstract was very unexpected, with the other scores so similar.
