just wondering, since you can take the UKCAT in June and possibly get your result by july/august, that means you know your score be4 you apply. thats so much better. i wish they did that with the bmat, cos then i wouldnt have wasted 2 of my choices on ucl and imperial!
Yeah but you dont really know how the scores will eb used - this is only the first year that UKCAT is being used, and some unis have already said that they have no idea how they will use the data.
Btw, isnt the first testing date July 11th? We can register in June, but not take it then. So most people will get their results in late August/Septemeber?
and anyway, if you got a 'bad' score, would that put you off applying to the ~20 medical schools that require it?!
//Edit
I just checked, UKCAT testing starts on July 11th:
Seems to be a mixed bag then. Ironically they asked me the research question. I told them that I didn't see myself doing research in that I am more a hands-on kind of person - although I said I was...
Rejection here too :( fairly gutted. Thought my interview was ok. My interview was back in November and cos of the long wait I got my hopes up that I actually had a chance... Just southampton to hear...
They must just give out the rejections first and then the offers.
Good luck for Warwick! I only have Bristol left and doubt I'll get in so probably will be applying again
